I know. I remember that. It was the day after Lolla and I was still in Chicago after the show. I would have tried to get in if I had known about it.

I remember reading on the board you needed like yellow wristbands to get in. And some guy from the pit went to walgreens with his buds and bought a bunch of yellow folders and cut them up into make shift wristbands and got in.

Wow, theres Black on there too. You can see Dennis Rodman sitting next to Ed while he's singing it.

the band that Eddie is playing with is Halfway Jane...Chicago band that tours small clubs around Illinois and Wisconsin. Definitely check them out if you get a chance, they are great.

Saw them a few months ago, great original stuff and also a few PJ covers. I know Ed has sang with them on more than one private occasion.

If you go to http://www.halfwayjane.com and click on photos on the left, there are pictures from the show where this video was taken as well as from at the golf outing the next day when Ed played with them again.

How freaking cool is Chris Chelios? The guy is friends with everyone!!
I gotta say that was pretty badass! You may not like Kid Rock's whole thing, but the guy brings it and is always giving it up to old schoolers like Bob Segar and Hank Williams.

    That was awesome!

Yeah I know man, I dont think I will ever be able to listen to that song again man. I mean its supposed to be about freedom and something special to us man. Who does Ed think he is to fucking whore our freedom with someone like that. My ears are ruined, Ed is a sellout. Man I am burning all my albums.

dont take this response seriously please.

Well that was silly. If you wanted to help yourself, you should have stabbed your eardrums with a screwdriver.

Black Performance is very good and raw (something like they used to perform at the beginning of PJ, kind of miss that in a way...)...

who is Ed hugging at the end? (is that Dennis Rodman?)

Take Kid Rock for what he is... he's not trying to change the world with his music. He has a good time on stage and that's pretty much all he's about.

Maybe you guys are scared because Vedder and Kid Rock both love to:

    -- Drink
    -- Smoke butts
    -- Watch basketball
    -- party with Chris Chelios

maybe they're friends??!?!??!??!! How scary is that... heads would explode.
