This isn't a real fanview of Toronto...I know I'm in the wrong place for that.
But I just wanted to share my experience, very briefly.

In short, I was unable to get tix, but had planned to be in Toronto for my honeymoon this week anyway. I figured, I would be forever mad at myself if we didn't at least go to the general area of the amphitheatre and try to hear some of the show from afar or something. Scalpers were out for $200+ for lawn. Yeah, right. I was also not going to buy from a scalper, it just wasn't me.

So anyway, we wander around and amazingly come across this grassy knoll directly behind the back gate to the lawn seats. There was a PERFECT view of the jumbo screens and the sound was fantastic for Ted Leo. We plopped down with about 20 people around us. The show was about to start and soon enough a crowd of about 100 had gathered. There were a bunch of kids around us doing kick jumps and rocking out. All us poor or just unlucky people watched the whole show for free on a beautiful summer night. It was definitely the most memorable concert experience of my life.

Please don't take this as gloating over those who paid high prices to get in or just decided against it. I was just blissed out from this experience and wanted to share. Hey, maybe one of you were on that same spot!
