Some asshole TC member is selling just ONE of his TC seats on craigslist for $195. This is absolutely ludicrous. So many of us here have been trying so hard for tickets and then this happens.

Seriously this guy should be banned now.

everyone in the club just moved up one seat.

10c should give this guy's 10c number to a random higher 10c member.

I saw a listing earlier today for front row in Chicago for over $8,000.00 a piece! There were 4 for sale.

The service charge was over $1,000.00 per ticket. The grand total for all 4 came to over $43K.

I was at work, so I could not log on here. I am trying to find the listing again - it is disgusting a) those seats are for sale at those prices and b) they may well sell.

    Found it!

    Section: FLOOR Row: 1
    1ST ROW
    $8,954.00 purchase
    tickets

[link was here, but that was bad of me]

I was going to ask my company for an advance. But I figured, with all the red tape, it be probably be more efficient to sell a kidney instead.

Sign him up for the U2 fan club...that will really crush his ego....he'll be begging for a membership in the Coldplay fan club after a few weeks of that crap.
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.

  • Is there something in the fine print that says you can't sell your tickets? Maybe he can't make it to the show and wants a little extra scratch? That's his right to do and all of you tattletalers can mind your own business.

  • there's no fine print about it. it's called "no transfers or sale of any 10C tickets". that's the purpose of the club in the first place, to get rid of shit like this.

It's NOT his right to do at ALL. it's in the policy.

For those of us who respect and honor the policy of 10C, this type of usury is a big fuck you to the band, club, and all of us. It is obvious this jackoff has no intention of ever attending any shows, just making a killing on other's misfortune of not getting the few club tix available. They should have all club rights revoked, as well as the fool willing to buy them. They are both guilty of breaking the rules. This is not a supply and demand situation, but a contractual agreement between 10c & the buyer.

Being a grass here is not the wrong thing. Imagine all those poor people who lose the lottery for tickets to the shows and then see this shit. If he wanted to get rid of the ticket,it should be face on the website here. This is a great community of people who help each other out and try to do things in the spirit of the band we all love. Selling above face value is just not cricket.
we're all going to the same place...
  • saw this in another thread. i thought it was right on.
And if you really want to go after the scalpers...

Then go take your fight over to stub hub or ebay...

Because those 2 sights are scalper heaven!!!!!!

But the fight really isnt with scalpers...Is it???

The fight is to throw a fellow 10club member out of the club so YOU can move 3 inches closer to the stage.

i'm sure you are all such play by the rules pearl jam fans, and respect the wishes of the 10C and the band...when it suits you, that you are all going to adhere to the no camera policy at the shows too, right?

and of course none of you have ever listened to the birdman sessions or have copies of it, because you are all fully aware a cease and desist notice was issued and eddie was most unhappy that these recordings were out there right.?

Follow the yellow brick road...follow the yellow brick road....follow the yellow brick road....

play by the rules. when it suits you.

Right after i picked up my tickets to the Toronto to show at 1 pm (which was awesome!) i was approched by a scalper looking to exchange my two tickets section 103 (row m) for one ticket (section 102 row J) and 200 hundred buck. I was just waiting for my ride and i said "no thanks" while trying to be polite even though scalpers are below lawyers in my mind. As i waited he kept coming back to me and as i was getting in the car he was saying "how about $400".

After some quick math i realized that row J was row 10 which of course meant it was a lottery ticket!!! I can't believe the greed of some people, the ten club makes it infinitely easier to buy tickets than for any event on earth and even give people a chance to sit even closer without the rush of a 10am refresh marathon ( i never get awesome seats to other event even when i try due to the volume of people on earth) and ungrateful people just try to make a buck....

So, i assume the guy/girl that sat at section 102 row J seat 8 made a profit last night....brutal

Anyway, my wife and i had an awesome time and that's all that matters but sometime you gotta vent...

  • I don't think that all of rows 1&2 and 9&10 are lottery...on touringfan, they only showed 3 lottery winners for toronto, while this isn't the entire fanbase, I would think it wouold be more than 3 winners posting on touringfan.............
