It happens. Whatever. I'm seeing PJ tonight.

Before you get your ticket scanned, go back to the box office and ask for the Box Office Manager. In the nicest way possible, tell them you purchased a pair of tickets, but they placed you in different locations. Tickets in arenas are always available day-of, so if they have a better pair to swap for you, they may just do that. Give it a shot and tell is if it worked.

The very pretty Karen from 10C is the nicest person ever! I went down to the tent and asked if they could do anything and they radioed for her. She came down and hooked me up!
    Thanks!

Nice. When I used to work shows in NYC at the arenas and stadiums there, I used to help many bands (including PJ) with their ticketing issues, though PJ is very on top of things. There's usually a number of pairs of tickets bands have to help solve problems, as well as their own personal stash of tickets for their own guests.

Glad the advice worked for you! :)

    sec 203 row t

the couple beside me had seats in two different rows, but managed to be beside eachother throughout the show.
  • number is 422XXX, had sect 202 row vv right beside sound box. saw the set list and i gotta say, I enjoy being surprised by what they will play as I wasn't super explody happy when they played a song because i knew it was coming.

and I was really excited for the closer which was supposed to be oceans and yellow ledbetter but they switched it to just rockin the free world, which I guess is fine but that's all I've heard them close with the last 4 shows I've been to (Toronto, Munich, Mansfield).

All in all fantastic show, loved the energy and happiness spilling out of the band!!!

side note, the guys in the sound box weren't very friendly, i saw a dude asking for the set list at the beginning of the show (as I asked as well for it at the end) and they said 'we'll see' and half way through porch the guy folded it up, stuck it in his pocket and told the guy that asked for it that it was already gone.

    :(

  • #91xxx , section 102 5th row a couple seats left of centre. Wicked show. LOVED that they opened for themselves! The only downer was that our row was also a through way so there were people walking past us all night long- short girl = view getting blocked a lot! :D

I wanna hear more about higher #'s winning the lottery - they must have been ecstatic!!

Section 103 Row N (last row pit).

We had two tall Ten Clubers in front of us... we jokingly asked them if they would switch seats with us.

They did. This is what the Ten Club is all about and if those 2 tall dudes read this, thanks so much once again :D

I cannot say how much love I had for that pit and having last row at first I said, I wish I was in the front 200's and then as the show went on I realized just how much fun it was to be in the pit and how tight it was in there. It felt like a small club in the pit. I was thankful to just be in the pit and would take anywhere there again.

    Thanks Ten Club... much love.

Congrats! I am ALL FOR the lottery and happy members with higher numbers come down and rock out in the pit... Nice that everyone has a chance to be close to the band :D

    Sec 203 Row b

Amazing seats! We felt so close. Only downer was that there was a really tall guy in front of me, but I had a blast nevertheless.

When I picked up my tickets, there was a pair who had seats in different rows. The ticket distributors weren't very helpful. Hopefully, they were able to work things out.

Congrats to you. I am 425xxx for Vancouver, and I am terrified because of all the Seattle people coming up. I'm not complaining, but a score like that would make me cry in happiness. Good on you!

FRONT ROW CENTRE BABY!!! THE best night of my life, hands down! I don't even know what to say...still absolutely reeling from that experience. And the funny thing is, after waking up at 4:15 to catch a 5:45am train out from Ottawa, spending a few extra hours on a detour to Newmarket to meet up with a friend, fighting the CNE crowds twice in order to get tickets and escape to the preparty before heading back in a third time, I didn't even clue in that we had the 'golden tickets' until a guy at the preparty (didn't catch your name, sorry!) pointed it out to me. Needless to say I felt like an idiot, but a veeeeeeery happy and mildly delirious one at that! :D

With # 340XXX, I never dreamed I'd be able to get front row. I thought I was damned lucky getting 5th row at Massey Hall last year but this...I can't even put into words what this night meant to me. Anything I could say would fall flat, but I'll do my best. The band was on fire and the new songs sounded amazing (Got Some is permanently stuck in my head). Lots of Yield material which is always good, Inside Job which is always a treat, and I finally got to hear Off He Goes and Down, two of my favourites that have eluded me at 7 previous shows. And then the preset...well, Ed did say they were going to improvise...a lot. Fucking Sugar Mountain and The Needle and the Damage Done (although Helpless from Massey Hall still tops my list of Neil covers), Mike solo, Stone solo, Bee Girl and the new-and-improved "Eddie Vedder & the Pharmacists"!

I got to experience the complete high of belting out the lyrics to my favourite songs while actually making direct eye contact with Ed, who at one point during Given to Fly, pointed to my Wishlist Smile shirt and made a scribbling motion as if he were writing it down, but alas it never got played. (I was spoiled rotten with Smile and everything else in Hartford though, so absolutely no complaining here!) When he climbed on top of the barrier during Porch, my friend was helping to hold him up so he was basically directly on top of us. And to top it all off, I got Ed's setlist at the end of the night! :D

My number is 328xxx and I ended up in section 103 row G two seats from the stage/barrier.

I was confused about whether I won the lottery or not because I was in the third row of my section- not the first or second. I assumed I didn't win the lottery but could not explain my amazing seats. One thing I noticed is that my seat had an obstructed view of the stage. I was "technically" in line with the people in the front row, middle section but I could not see Matt or his drums at all. From my seat he was behind the large speaker/monitor to Mike's right. Even Jeff and Mike were obscured for more than 50% of the show by this same speaker. My theory (and it's just that) is that the shape of the venue seating (curved edges to the far left and right) led the 10c to give the obstructed seats to those with higher numbers, even though they were closer to the stage.

Theories aside, it was the best concert I've seen and my sister and I had the best night of our lives. Mike was on fire!

I don't think the 10C sold all of their 10C tickets though. So hopefully the higher numbers will be alright.
