Bruce Springsteen At the Philly shows?

I got my tickets in the mail for the October 30th show in Philly and I am going on the 31st through the Ten Club, but when my tickets came for the 30th, they say, "Pearl Jam and Special Guest." I am wondering if that special guest might end up being the Boss himself!! I can only hope...Bruce and the E Street band are playing the spectrum the week before...and I was looking at his concert dates and he is doing a show in New York on October 29th but then has no shows until November. Fingers crossed, because that would be amazing to have him up there with eddie and the guys.

    just about every ticket i've ever purchased to a pearl jam show says "pearl jam and special guest". they are referring to the opening act. that's a pretty big leap to conclude that it would be Bruce, even if it is a surprise special guest.

    Agreed! He sucks, and then we would have to listen to crappy collaborations instead of just PJ. If PJ is going to collaborate with any band, it better be soundgarden!

    Kinda makes you wonder how he has managed to keep going for over 30 years considering he sucks. You can say you don't care for his music, but to say he sucks makes you sound like an idiot.

    I'd say there is a better chance of Bruce appearing at night 2 of the Hall of Fame show than coming down to Philly. Unless one of his kids has developed an interest in Pearl Jam, I wouldn't expect to see him for any of the Philly shows.

    I'm a big fan of Bruce, but not of "collaborations" on PJ songs. I don't mind Eddie collaborating with say -Tom Petty, at a Tom Petty show, but stay out of my PJ songs! I'm also a fan of Ben Harper, but holy hell does he mangle Indifference! Eddie does just fine on his own, in my opinion....
