I know the strike is over, but how did it clean up?
It's not bad. No Garbage really, racoons are all blown away from the tornados...ha. But really its all fine. I'm hoping the weather belts it out now and has nothing left for tomorrow. The hourly report on the weather network says rain should stop around 2pm. That'd be alright. Here's hoping...

ha. nice to see I am not the only one checking the hourly reports on the weather network. the only reason I am not entirely comforted is because the hourly forecast this morning failed to indicate Armageddon at 7pm this evening -- how hard can that be to catch?
Good news is they are calling for rain this morning and Sun all afternoon and evening.
some crazy stuff....the storm was so fierce that they couldn't remove the baggage from the plane yesterday (landed at 445pm, finally got the baggage by 615)
and the worst part of the storm hadn't hit yet. Driving into toronto, the storm just crept on it and was madness. my taxi driver was scared.

I don't remember a storm like that in Toronto ever.
I drove home last night around 9pm, and when I got off the hwy, it was like pulling into a desserted town. No lights, no people. It was really odd.
This morning a lot of people are finally realizing the full mess. 1 Person has died.
