I got tix for 10/28, 10/30 and 10/31. 10/31 are 10C tix while I paid $150.00 a pair including $16 shipping for 10/28 and 10/30. My friend paid a little less than I did. 10/28 Section 219, and 10/30 Section 316. Maybe it is a Philly thing or we were just lucky. I don't know.
Keep in mind. The brokers asking for high $ amounts will come down. It is still early for many shows. I can't stand those bastards. Is that even legal?
Those went way under face, but I guess they're some of the worst seats in the house.
PJ tickets don't have much of a scalper's market these days. Even people selling the tickets aren't making too much money on them ($100 or less on the pair, in most cases). Furthermore, Eddie's solo tickets have a negative scalping value. I've gotten to the point where I get somewhat conflicted about buying PJ tickets early. The past few shows I've been to, I'd have been much better off buying tickets on the secondary market the week of the show. I went ahead and bought early for Philly since this show has as much demand as any PJ show ever could, but even then there will likely be tickets under face near the show. For example though, at the Virginia Beach show last year, I couldn't even find someone to take an extra ticket (101, Row M) for a very modest price. Hell, lawns were literally going for like $5. This band just doesn't have the demand some people on here perceive it does. In a way, that's a good thing because everyone should be able to get tickets when they want to see a show, but it's also frustrating when they're charging $85 for a ticket and it's value on the open market is half that. Hell, Eddie's Baltimore tickets were selling for like $25 right before the show. That shit was massively overpriced. Anyway, I guess the lesson is that you should only buy full price tickets for cities like Chicago, Toronto, New York, and probably Philly when they aren't playing 4 shows.
Scott, I agree with what your'e saying completely. When I purchase TenClub tickets, I do so knowing that they are priced over the market value. Still, I'm OK with this for a few reasons. One is the lottery, I look at it as buying a raffle ticket with the chance to sit in the first row. Another is knowing that my ticket situation is handled months in advance. I pay for the tickets now, forget about them, and the day of the show I am free to tailgate as much as I want. I don't have to go wandering around looking for the best deal on a ticket, plus if I am running late I don't have to worry about that hassle. I would definitely not buy Ticketmaster/Comcast tickets for a PJ show, unless, like you said, it is for a major city, etc. This holds true for most bands these days, even Springsteen, U2, etc are not being sold for huge profits anymore.

I did quite a bit of ticket searching for non-10c tickets for Philly/Chicago & there seemed to be a lot of upper deck tickets available at face right now on cragislist/ebay. So naturally as the shows get closer and scalpers are left with tickets these seats will end up below face.
Personally, I agree with what Scott36 about the lower demand for tickets these days. I think demand is down in general and when you add high face value and seat locations in the upper deck to the equation you end up with a lot of tickets being pawned off at the last minute.
Good point Scott. I don't mind the scalpers losing on certain tickets. I would rather not go to a concert than sit in the nosebleeders behind the stage. That is just me though. I have a feeling that they would be better off doing what many other bands do, have a few different pricing tiers.

1/2 price tickets are the best
