What kind of setlists can we expect on this tour since there is no album being supported? Have they done that before? Will we see alot of rarities, covers?

I think they are going to make up songs as the go along.

Eddie: "We just wrote this song while we were playing the last song"

Does anyone know what this is in reference to?

Nah dude, the 05 tour wasn't in support of any particular album, just a chance for the boys to get out, play some shows in spots they hadn't hit up before and have a good time. The setlists were pretty badass, particularly on some of the Canadian dates(Ottawa and Halifax come to mind), because they mixed it up big time. Little bit of this, little bit of that. It's PJ, it'll destroy regardless.

If there was ever a time to dust off some rarely/never played songs, this tour would be it.

    Hoping for:
    Who You Are
    All Those Yesterdays
    No Way
    All Night
    Rival
    Strangest Tribe
    Tremor Christ

It'd be cool if they did what the Stones did in 2002/3.. highlight a different album every night, play most of that album along with all different songs.

I saw "Let It Bleed" night in Philly. What a show.

Lots of people here would look foward to "Yield" night, I bet.
    2004 - 10/1, 10/11
    2005 - 9/15, 9/16, 9/30, 10/1, 10/3
    2006 - 5/5, 5/12, 5/13, 5/27, 5/28, 5/30, 6/1, 6/3, 6/23, 7/22, 7/23, 12/2
    2007 - 6/27, 8/3
    2008 - 6/14, 6/19, 6/20, 6/22, 6/24, 6/25, 6/27, 6/28, 6/30, 7/1

'til YOUR city gets 'riot act night'. ;)

add another +1 for an '05 like tour. that was a great year. pulling out the "harvest moon" cover was one of my favorite aspects.

I'll bet they will be very similar to the 06 tour....and each night will get an anti-war song and a 'wild' song.
    Like a word misplaced...nothing said...what a waste

I would personally be very much okay with a Riot Act night. It's a damn shame most of those songs don't get played as much as they should.

I agree, I would like to see these. This is a great tour for them to play a lot of differnt things they would normally not get to play when supporting a new albulm.

i hate all this talk about these special nights where they play most of one album or anything like that so out of the ordinary.

just look at their past sets throughout the years- they play a lot from the new record the first tour after it comes out and then they mix it up with some rarities for other tours.

dont expect an acoustic set or a 10 song second encore- if it happens great, but it probably wont.

2003 was a tour supporting an album, and PNC had a somewhat "special" setlist. 2 songs from each album in order, with I got ID in its appropriate spot.

In honor of Speedy and Fanch, Cincy isn't listed as a tour stop this year so Riot Act night won't be happening anytime soon. ;)
