Shane Yensan my best friend and pearl jam tour partner passed away yesterday August 19. He passed away at his home in Grand Island With friends and family by his side. He loved the band and I will miss him tremendously. But I wanted to Thank the band for all the great road trips and memories we shared together. One of his favorite songs Driftin will be played at his funeral Saturday. Shane has been a member of the ten club for as long as I can remember. Our last show was Hartford 08. He will be missed but will live on with every pearl jam song that is played and every concert they perform. RIP Shane Yensan.

    I am so sorry for your loss. It is good he was with friends and family but it is so hard on the friends and family.

    man, sorry to hear that. a PJ tour partnership, in my opinion, is the highest form of friendship. you'll have those great memories to cherish forever.
