You know that feeling after a tour where all you can think about is seeing the band and how fucking awesome it was, and all the amazing people you met, and how sad you are that you wont be seeing them anytime soon. Well, it really blows. :(

I want that feeling again! I know Eddie said they wont be in europe anytime soon, but in Rotterdam he said maybe 18 months so who knows? I will definately travel to the US if I can scrape the money together, just to live the whole experience all over again.

I think my highlight over the two shows I saw (Manchester and London) definately had to be Light Years. I couldn't help but cry my eyes out when they played that (for personal reasons that I wont bother going into). I think it was probably one of the most emotional experiences of my life. Other than that, seeing In Hiding, Present Tense, Sleight of Hand, Indifference and Immortality and countless others was unbelievable and I never expected to see them over the two shows. And how special was Ledbetter? Mike totally steals the show everytime. :D

Also, I met some wonderful people over the course of the 2 days so if Christian or Melissa are reading this then please step forward! It would be cool to get in touch again. Oh, also Carlos and jeaubong you guys where pretty awesome too. Nevermind the german guy was reading his comic book in the queue, you were crazy dude. I'm probably forgetting some other people too, but if you're reading I was wearing a red big fish t on the monday and a green into the wild t on tuesday. If I met you, drop me a message or something!

Anyways, rant over...I just wanted to say how perfect everything was and how I miss everything already! I'd also like to thank Pearl Jam of course for being absolutely stunning, as they are each and everytime. None of this would have happened without them. So thanks. Next time all we need is In My Tree... ;)

George.

I have the same feeling for over a week now. But thanks to you who posts on youtube i can relive it everyday... pompom.gif

And when i saw the setlists of the other concerts in Europe i don't even feel dissapointed any moore.
It made me happy that the set they used for Rotterdam was only for Rotterdam yes.gif

First i was a little down that i didn't visit more shows because of the setlists i saw but now i understand why. It is like it is.
I am from the Netherlands and will just visit them if they play in our country. And what they play here are our songs. Just for us...

Blues is gettin' slowly out of my system but still waiting for the official bootleg...

I'm still feeling 'high' because of all the shows I got to see (and friends!)... but I'm sure this depression thing will hit me pretty hard any time soon now.... ;)

I still can't believe it was such short "tour" either. I'll be keeping up with the US tour setlist threads but it won't be the same. Trying to think of more positive things does help though:
The band were on top form at the shows (when was the last time Ed sounded as good as the O2?) Backspacer is out soon Pearljamtourtv will be there for the Oz/NZ tour Vs reissue can't be far away...

    It's not all bad! :D

  • i just got back to new york last night and i'm already longing to go back to europe. it was really a great experience to catch pj in rotterdam, manchester and london.

i loved checking out the cities and sights during the day, seeing all the fans decked out in their pj gear at the bus/train stations and the hotel bars....i really hope they go back to europe soon, i need another excuse to go back.
i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status

I'm the opposite. I want an excuse to the US. I think PJ are a pretty good excuse for that. ;)

Great point I can't wait for this. I've been waiting for months to hear any news and still nothing. Vs. is the best album and I can't wait to get my hands on the vinyl
