In the 10C ticket confirmation as well as the Molson/Ticketmaster site it states that non pro cameras are allowed in the venue. I guess my question is what constitutes a pro camera? I would love to bring my Canon Rebel XTI which is an amateur camera but it is an SLR. Will they let me in with this?

    Sadly I don't think so. If it has a removable lens (which all SLRs have) it's not allowed. In this case, "non-pro" means point and shoot.

    I am 98% sure this is the case, but the actual rules are on the site somewhere.

    As I suspected:

    CAMERA POLICY FOR CONCERT ATTENDEES

    * Small, handheld cameras welcome.
    * No flash in the first 20 rows.
    * No detachable lenses.
    * No professional still or recording cameras.
    * No sticks.
    * No video cameras.
  • Hey1 thanks for the research and the response. Certainly not what I wanted to hear, but the point and shoot is better than nothing! See you all at the Pre show. starting our trek from New Hampshire this evening. anybody need anything from the Granite State?

    Tell me about it. I just got a Nikon D90 and would LOVE to bring it to the show. Alas that will not be possible.
