Anyone know much about this or have the boot from the show? I was trying to figure out how many times the band had played it live and saw the first time it was played was at the Delta Center on 11/02/95! A little over two years before Yield came out! Wow I would love to hear this!

I didn't know the exact date it was played, but yeah, it's a song they were trying out on the road for a while before it showed up on Yield.

I think I heard -- though I could be wrong -- that it almost made an album prior to Yield.

The band originally was planning to release an album in the fall of 1995. They even released a tracklisting that I remember reading in some magazine. I remember the listing being 10 songs and "Brain of JFK" was one of them. "All Night" was on there as was "Lukin" "Habit" and a song titled "Tommy Who". Many believe that Tommy Who is either "Who You Are" or "Black Red Yellow". Wish I had saved that magazine.

I have the boots from both of the 95 Salt Lake shows. If you need a copy, just shoot me an email or something.

I was at the 11/6/95 show (my first show ever) and they didn't play Brain Of J. They played Lukin. I first heard Brain Of J. two years later up in Oakland (11/18/97).

That is a TOTALLY different version (lyrically). They must have edited it quite a bit from 95 to 97.
