What does everyone eat for lunch ?
Its always a headache for me with figuring out what I want
I dont like buying food everyday it gets rather expensive but I dont want to bring the same thing from home each day either
I would buy lunch meat and stuff but thats not really healthy to eat all the time
I need ideas !!

never been a big fan of sandwiches, but i do like tuna or chicken salad on crackers too.
That's what we do, we make extras for lunch.
Usually, I'll bring something that is like the "main course", and then I'll pack some other things, like some snacks. Here are some things I bring that might give you an idea:
fruits
veggies (raw or cooked), cooking some rice and flavoring it is never a bad idea. last night we made brown rice with roasted pine nuts...my god.
crackers
hummus
cookies
cheese
peanut butter/jelly sandwich
etc...
and fruit snacks are actually damn good too!
..my girlfriend says I eat like a 5 year old.

i ALWAYS bring my lunch from home. always.
however, i really don't mix it up all that much, tho i do change it up some by the seasons....and i eat a variety of things at lunch and snacks at work, all brought from home.
my usual daily work menu:
early morning at desk - banana or clementine
late morning - kashi granola bar
lunch - nuts (usually almonds or sunflower seeds)
- salad (summer: usually homemade thai cucumber salad, rest of the year, mixed greens, sometimes with chicken, or black olives, different dressings, etc) or in winter, usually soup and rarely, a sandwich
- berries (usually a mix of blueberries, blackberries & raspberries)
- piece of cheese (usually pepper jack, or gouda)
- sometimes crackers
- occasionally SF jello or pudding
mid-afternoon - red grapes or clementine
i find eating like this keeps me energized, full but never stuffed....and sure, get in a LOT of your daily dietary requirements. so try and think of smaller foods you can combine to make your meal, and also allows you to mix it up.
bringing food from home definitely saves you $$$ and i also think is far healthier as you really control what and how much you eat.
good luck!

other than that, mac n cheese, tyson tv dinner...pb&j

"You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?"
carrots, and some sort of sandwhich. i say some sort of sandwhich because there is so little of whatever it is on the thing that it looks like two pieces of bread. i just cant do that. i would rather eat nothing than the same thing day after day.
anyway, i eat a lot ( of different ) soups.
but i usually skip lunch at least twice a week.

salads are the easiest thing to make, keep a bottle of dressing at work

Oh yeah! I've been doing those a bit lately. That or the frozen burritos.......I'll have to think up something new!
