He is number 78xxx and got Section 201 row U..but he said a guy in front of him with a 10c number of 221xxx got the back rows of Section 102..and another guy either won the lottery or has a retarded number b/c he pulled Section 101 row A.

He said they told him that there are 3,000 10c tickets..[not sure if thats 3k tickets, or 3k pairs]
That doesn't make sense at all ... did you m iss a digit? Is your friend 178XXX or 78XXX?

Yes sir, venue has been oversold by 4000 tickets... and the lawn is going to be crammed... i was on the lawn for a tool show where it was 2000 oversold, and you couldn't move...

The venue does it for big shows, frequently... however the most tickets i've ever heard them over selling it by is 2000...
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

If true, that is absolutely ridiculous. Even 2,000 seems like a not-so-good idea. I'd hate to be up on the lawn tonight....

    78

hes been getting shafted on so many shows.

Massey Hall last year I was 2nd row center [256xxx] and he was 13th row..

unless they are filling sections one at a time..so they will fill all of section 201 before going to section 202 etc..

EDIT: or he is lying to me about his number..
  • oh maaaaaaaaan.........

ONE day late. fan since 1990. and........lawns.

    sigh.......

Massey Hall was all random, so his number meant nothing there.

But that certainly doesn't seem right at all...

honestly, it's nice to be close, but man, just being inside the venue tonight, anywhere, is going to be soooooo goood....

  • My # is 226XXX, been a member since 2002. I usually get decent seats so I'm hoping for nothing less tonight. Can't wait!

I can't make it to the venue until 6ish. I assume that since all the 10C tickets are pre-allocated, that it won't make any difference whether I'm there at 1:00 or 6:00, can anyone confirm this?

I was in the very last row at the Saratoga Springs 2000 shows ... so basically the lawn and it was am amazing show. Couldn't see fuck all from there but I wouldn't trade that show for anything.

    Tonight will be great.

I'm 311xxx and just picked up my tickets: sec 202, row K. Those are dead center in the middle of the 2nd section back from the stage. Should be a great, great spot.

    THANKS 10C.

fyi - a scalper was walking up and down the 10C line offering $500 (!) for a single extra ticket. wow.

You should do well, for sure.

Gotta say, I'd rather be mid 200s than mid-100s. For those who don't know the Amphitheatre too well, the 100 section is level and all the others are sloped. Not being an especially tall fellow I'm pretty happy to walk in knowking I'll have a clear view.

Have a great time everyone - it's a beautiful day in Toronto and Pearl Jam is in town!!!

Alright, I'm getting eager... heading down to the venue now to pick up my tickets, maybe hit the pre-party at the brazen head....

I'll probably be the only f@cker there with a Montreal Canadiens Hat on! Feel free to make friends!

If I get anymore info on the show, i'll pass it along...

P.S. The start time for pearl jam is set to 8:45.... don't let that concern you though... apparently last night the venue let Kenny Chesney play until 11:25, so they better let PJ play until atleast 12.... 8-)

    FYI!

    1. The TenClub line was longish at 12:45pm.

    2. When we go to the front entrance, the Ex didn't have its deposit vouchers yet--so we ended up paying for admission (which, to be fair, is $1.75 today). I don't know if that's been remedied yet or what, but just be aware that you may end up paying a nominal admission fee.
