Internet laws?? Regarding drug dealing

What are the laws regarding drug dealing on the internet? When it comes to marijuana, is it just like our regular laws? Does it depend on quantity? Do the Internet laws vary from state to state? If someone tries to sell a few joints on the internet, is it a crime? Is it a misdemeanor? Is it as felony?

I am just curious.
If anyone can help me out, thanks in advance.

    im thinking, there are laws for conspiracy and even if you were just talking about it you could be charged. any form of delivery would be illegal, unless of course you are in some heavenly place where all this is okay.

    plus selling over the internet would be INTER-STATE distribution.
