Just wanted to let anyone know who's planning on staying at Philly Embassy-they are not friendly! I called to make my reservation last night and requested a smoking room. When I got the conf. email it was for non-smoking. I called to ask about it and they were sooo rude. I won't be staying there and just wanted to give a heads up because if I hadn't checked the reservation I wouldn't have known until I got there and there is a fee if you don't cancel 24 hrs in advance and a fee if you smoke in a non-smoking room of course! Hate to be negative but didn't want anyone to get screwed. ; )

    I didn't think hotels still had smoking rooms... shows what I know. Sorry for the bad experience :(

    I'd say you just got a few of those bad apples from philly, sorry for the bad experience, i'm a former smoker, i planned to "smoke" outside anyway 8-)

    No worries, I'm traveling from Ohio so I'll find another hotel. I just thought it would be nice to stay at one of the hotels with the Backspacer deal because I figured there would be lots of PJ fans. But if that's the experience in just booking the hotel, who knows how they treat the guests! I just wanted people to know because it sucks to pay that much for a hotel and then be treated crappy. It's really not the fact they booked my reservation wrong it's more the way I was treated about it. Thanks for the replies though and hope to see you at the show! : )
