Anyone find a good deal on a hotel in sf for outide lands?

    sf hotels very pricey, a decent budget hotel is the grant street hotel in chinatown, 2 blk walk to bus/metro heading to haight area.i blk to cable car to bay ,probably around a 100 a night , fun area to stay in .i never tried priceline,know you can great deals but i dont like not knowing what i'm buying.

    Westin in Union Sq had $99 rooms if you booked at the begining of the year when the show was announced.
