I'm noticing a slightly different mix of Fixer at the end. anyone else hear this? sounds fuckin cool. Kinda like the way Nothing as it Seems' single was different (both NAIS and insignificance) from the album versions. I'm also thinkin Backspacer has potential for more ear candy.

This year is just getting so exciting! The tour is being more heavily promoted in Australia than ever before, specially now that we have YouTube, Foxtel, iPods etc that we didn't have in the past. Chugg is big time promoting this tour, more than Coppell ever did. I'm impressed with Chugg so far!! And commercial networks are doing their bit too, Triple M advertising and talking about the tour, Nova radio station have interviewed Stone and the commercial tv networks are advertising the shows. PJ have to fill our stadiums, the shows will be so great if this happens!!! I simply cannot wait for November!! :):):):):)

I havent seen any promotion for the tour... I dont watch commercial TV, listen to the radio or read fluff newspapers. So living in a cave as I do, I wouldnt even know the tour existed if not for the internet 8-)

As it says in that article:
Michael Chugg, Executive Chairman of Chugg Entertainment is thrilled to announce the new venture: “I’ve been in this business since all we had to promote our shows was radio, putting up posters and handing out flyers. These days, there is a whole new world of promotional opportunity out there and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. The digital space is infinite and it’s where so many music fans are spending all of their time, they are hungry for more content and an insight into the artists that they love – so that’s what we’re giving them.”

Wireless broadband's pretty awesome for reaching caves!

I get the feeling like they're a little scared of not selling out the concerts, but I think they should have no fear. They're the best band ever IMHO. It's just that the rest of the world only seems to have heard their first three albums, which is just such as shame. I'm really looking forward to next year too when they may release the b-sides to Backspacer. I loved Lost Dogs, and think anything they touch is gold. They could release an ablum every year! Just tour non-stop! Don't worry about the kids and wifies :D Seriously, they should take breaks, but the present tense is very exciting!

    Cheers,
    Dean.
