Amazing show, cannot go into detail now, having a beer and going to bed, wrecked.
As a side not, got a look at the setlist during Black from a member of o2 staff, on it and not played was LUKIN before Hail Hail and BRAIN OF J before Love Reign O'er Me, have a photo of it but cant post it now!!
EDIT: Also down on the setlist looking at the pic again is L.W? for after ledbetter!
last time leaving here was played 6-3-06 and that show had the best version of porch ever imo. Check it out if u havent heard it yet
i heard someone else say the same thing about that porch on here before, or maybe it was you? i don't get it. i was actually at that show, and i have the boot, didn't even think it was the best porch i personally saw on the tour, let alone what i've heard out of the hundreds of versions on different bootlegs pearl jam have floating around. actually i heard them play a version of that song a couple weeks later in pittsburgh, and it blew the jersey version away in my opinion. that set list was killer though.....just curious, what is it about that version that makes you like it so much? what sets it apart in your opinion? maybe i'll have to give it another listen....
you want to hear pearl jam at their finest, listen to crazy mary from cincinatti '06 and rearviewmirror from d.c. '08. those are the only two particular songs i've heard on a boot that i can say hands down are the best versions of the songs ever performed by the band. i've never heard them sound so tight, and as we all know, pearl jam is always a tight live band.
The last three sets have gotten progressively better . . . . hopefully the momentum carries into Friday baby!

Yeah - looking at encore setlists is always tough because they usually wind up skipping a few. Little Wing was the question after yellow ledbetter I would guess.
Great show though! Anyone get a picture of the poster?

I quite liked it! It's short, fast, and a bit punky. I've got a video of it but I'm not sure if I can put it up because it's the first time they've played it (some ofThe End videos got pulled from Youtube)

on another note, It was my first ever PJ show, and I freakin LOVED it! WHAT A BAND! WHAT A NIGHT! 2 and a half hours! It was truly stunning, I don't know how they did it.
Thanks to ten club for the standing tickets (1st time ive managed 2 get standing at the o2) so really grateful!
Must say thanks as well to Ed, for cooling the crowd down, I know some people probably think that was lame, but it was getting unbearable for me (and I'm well used to tough crowds!) and it was much more enjoyable after!
