Any chance we get an acoustic set in Philly? Also what "special guests" do you think will appear on the 31st? I'm sure several artists would love the opportunity to share the stage with PJ to close down the Spectrum. It's gonna be a special night an instant classic PJ show.

  • my guess Temple Of The Dog...
    Tour with fucking NOFX
  • I hoping for a very long night on the 31st. If there is an early acoustic set like Mansfield 3 had a few years back, I hope there is some advanced notice. I would hate to miss that due to excessive pre-game festivities in the parking lot.

We sure do know how to tailgate in Philly!!

    my predictions for opening bands...

    10/27 - Philly's own...Cinderella!
    10/28 - Philly's own...BoyzIIMen!
    10/30 - Philly's own...G. Love & Special Sauce!

    and finally, on Halloween...

    10/31 - Philly's own...HALL & OATES!!!
I love to turn you on
  • Why not... Ween. They are from the Philly Area and don't tour much during school year (parents)I see the guitar player at Flyers games from time to time. (forget if it is dean or gene) But the one that plays the Red strat. Personally think that would be great as an opener. Just watching my wife's face cringe while they sing waving my d*ck in the wind" would be worth the price of admission.

Dead Milkmen were Philly guys at one point, may still be who knows

Hell the Boss is a big philly guy and even though his tour is playing 4 nights in philly the previous weeks He is playing 10/29 rock & roll hall of fame show and then not till 11/2 in DC so it is kind of on the way.

And even though you see Bon Jovi around town a lot I just don't think it fits. Boyz 2 men don't fit

Openers are openers. Hope they keep it a suprise as long as possible.
So many amazing shows! Thank you.

I`ve heard lots of rumors of guests ranging from Tom Waits ( live "Bugs"?, "waltzing Matilda`s"?) to Springsteen ( "Atlantic City "duo with Ed?) to Bono. It`ll be a memorable night for sure. Eff the curfew!!! Play till dawn!

There will be an acoustic set at some point in the 4 nights.

Im not so sure its going to be rockstar laden with appearances. Wouldnt be surprised to see Bruce come out for one or 2 songs during an encore on the 30th or 31st. Maybe we will see Neil, but I always hope that. Other than that I dont see a "We Are The World, We Are The Children" type of moment.
  • My Philly prediction is a great 4 nights. For some reason Bruce is a gimmie, U2 possibility, Soundgarden a bonus. See all of you at the Spectrum. :D
