Heading to Austin in a couple of hours for the Avett Brothers show tonight. Austin folks - there are tix available for $30 and this band is a must-see live. I love a band that tours the south regularly."Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them." - Thoreau

Awesome! Doesn't get much better than some good live music on a summer Friday night in Austin."Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them." - Thoreau

If I hadn't driven all over Central Texas last weekend I'd be tempted to join the fun. Enjoy..

Just arrived in Austin. Drinking a Ziegen Bock now and headed to The Avett Brothers show shortly. Not many better music towns than this one. PJ needs to get on it."Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them." - Thoreau

That tour is long overdue. The east coasters can jump on a plane for a change, and the band can even toss in a couple of Seattle shows while back home between legs. Granted, this will never happen, but my show count would rise quickly if it did."Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them." - Thoreau
