    actually, i think i'm going to crack my bottle of that tonight! :)

    Last night I had a 6 point Crisp lager before dinner...

    went to the pub next to my house, which is discovered is now filling growlers... which is not good news for me :lol:

    had a horseshoes and hand grenades by crazy mountain, followed by a buffalo bayou ginger citrus IPA...

    then headed over to the big craft beer spot called the hay merchant with one of my buddies for some darts... there I had a southern tier 2xIPA, a Goose Island Matilda, a Sam Adams New Albion, and a Osker blue Deviant Dale on cask with extra dry hops...

    highlights of the night were definitly the cask dale and the ginger citrus IPA... i was a little disappointed at the hay merchant as they had 512 bourbon barrel double pecan on the menu for the day, but it was tapped before I got a glass...

    also confirmed the hay merchant did get one 1/4 barrel keg of Founders KBS.... which has been stashed in the cellar until a to be named event.... I'm gonna be watching their twitter feed like a hawk now.... :lol:

    the pecan porter is delicious all onto it's own....

    About the ginger-citrus IPA - did the ginger cut the bitterness at all? I love IPAs, but there are some that finish a little bitter for my taste, depending on the brew.

    I would be in serious trouble if there was a pub near my house. I'm thinking of getting into homebrewing. Just for fun - make it all PJ related. See what happens...
