    Well for one reason, it would leave the promoter in Philly liable for false advertising as they have promoted the shows in Philly as Pearl Jam's only stop in the Northeast in 2009 to promote Backspacer.

    NO MSG

    As of July 15th pearl jam had no booking, and no holds in the arena and in the theatre at MSG. I would have heard if this happened since then.

    I live in NY and I really have no need to see PJ at MSG again. I never understood what the draw is. There are much better venues in the New York metro area for them to play. Or just better places in NY state in general.

    I'm totally cool with driving a bit further to Philly this year instead of NYC.

    I think the sound at MSG is very mediocre
    wouldnt mind seeing them play the pru center, but Ive never been there for a show

    Though if this happen's, these past few tour's have been pretty intense, to plan for vacation time off, trip's, planning etc.. :oops:
    D, its a little over 2 hrs but I drive real fast ;):lol:. These tour announcements with sporadic cities does make it hard to plan :cry: , even with my wife being a flight attendant & me being retired. Hopefully we'll see a full tour next year with full disclosure :idea: .

    What band doesnt want to promote an album as much as possible and what better place to do it than NYC. The garden is great if you are in the right sections where sound is great. If they do Letterman than its just a matter of scheduling. Its very possible...
