This sexy email just arrived in my Inbox!

This is your final confirmation for your Ten Club ticket purchase to the Pearl Jam show at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario on August 21st.

1) You will receive (2) reserved seated Ten Club tickets, which have been allocated by seniority in advance of the show. Rows 1-2 and 9-10 have been randomly assigned regardless of seniority.

2) You must collect the tickets at the box office on the day of the show, with a valid photo identification. Only the 10c member can collect the tickets. No exceptions.

3) All ticket sales are final. No transfers, refunds, exchanges. Reselling of 10c tickets for above face value will result in cancellation of ticket purchase, and revocation of all future ticket benefits from the Ten Club.

4) Doors will open at 6:00p. Showtime for opening act is 7:30p.

5) Ticket distribution will begin at 12:00pm Noon from the Ten Club ticket tent adjacent to the main box office. Ticket distribution will end approximately at 9:15pm. We recommend claiming your tickets early to avoid long will call lines.

Additional questions regarding your tickets can be directed to tickets@tenclub.net.

----

D'oh! The last email many, many weeks ago said ticket distribution will begin @ 10am, I thought. Gotta change morning plan's now. I gotta come back to the hotel, get the donation goodies for the preparty & head down to the Brazen Head Irish Pub by 2pm. Please let this not be like the NYC 1 & 2 '08 experience. We waited an hour or so later to get the ticket's @ 12pm! :(

Friday is the first day of the CNE and I don't know if the parking lot attendants will let you through to the venue without you paying for parking. If they have been briefed ahead of time about the 10C window they may. Traffic is gonna be a BITCH so give yourself LOTS of time.

Sure you've all received this further confirmation e-mail:

This is important information from the Molson Amphitheatre box office regarding your ticket collection at the 8/21 Toronto show:

Ten Club ticket windows will open at 12pm from the main box office. Tickets will be available for collection until 1/2 hour after Pearl Jam takes the stage.

Doors open at 6pm and showtime for opening act is 7:30p.

Ticket Pick Up: If you are cutting through the CNE grounds and needing to pick up your ticket at our box office you will be required to pay a deposit ($15 per person cash only) at the CNE gates that will be reimbursed at our box office once you pick up your tickets.

Did you know? Your concert ticket grants you free grounds admission into The CNE and Ontario Place (day of show).

Parking and Traffic: We strongly encourage you to take public transportation as traffic will be challenging and parking extremely limted if available at all.

For the safety of guests, staff and artists the below items will not be permitted into The Molson Amphitheatre on Aug. 21, 2009 for the Pearl Jam performance.
    -umbrellas (of any size)
    -tarps
    -large blankets
    -lawn chairs
    -any outside food or beverage
-audio/video recording devices and pro cameras

You will be permitted to bring in a small blanket (beach towel size) and non pro still cameras.

Is there any way to get to the Amphitheatre without going through the CNE gates?

I don't think so, to be honest.

Note that the bridges to Ontario Place seem to be within the CNE grounds....

Sorry now that I look at it again, I don't think the bridges are the only way to get into Ontario Place. There are side streets/parking lots south of Lakeshore Blvd. that lead to the venue, so I assume you can get to it that way..... someone who lives in Toronto would need to confirm . . .

If your walking, go along the lake, or along queen or king to strachan turn south, cross the lakeshore and go down remembrance drive. If your walking from the pre-party, east on liberty, then south on strachan.
If your taking the street car, get of at strachan, then follow the above intsructions. If arriving by go, you my be able to walk under the gardner to strachan, however, i think you might have to exit on the north side of the tracks, walk up atlantic, then east on liberty to strachan.
If your comming from central downtown, leave early and walk! its an interesting walk, about 30-40 minutes. Any able bodied person should be able to do it, and if your too lazy to do it, then you should be taken behind the barn and shot! :)
