    I've met a few of these types......let's just say you wouldn't want to be stuck in a corner with one, at a cocktail party. They've got issues. :roll: :mrgreen:

    my uncle was training to do this years ago, but he got hurt and he couldnt really do any ultra marathons any more.

    A few months ago I was reading about a crazy one.... I think in Africa? It was like this race meets Survivor

    ahahahahaha. I'm actually married to one! But she's a sweetheart. She just ran the Frisco one a a month ago.

    Yeah...they have a ultra that consists of several days across part of the Sahara....National Geographic TV's host did it a few years back.

    I LOVE running, but yeah...hardcore runners are def. strange.

    I know quite a few people that are like this and they mostly aren't that fun to be around.
