MEN Arena & 02 Poster plans?

Does anyone know if we'll get access to the merch stands before the doors open at the MEN and O2 Arenas? ... I've never been to either venue so I don't really know if they have indoor or outdoor merch booths.

Also, if we can only buy merch once the doors have opened does anyone plan on taking a poster tube to avoid their poster being crushed during the gig? ... do security allow poster tubes into the standing areas?

Any info would be much appreciated :)

I don't know about Manchester but the O2 merchandise area is outside the arena entrance. They provided a poster tube at Shepberds Bush for £1. I would suspect that they would let you in with it especially if they are selling these in the offical merchandise section.

I've been wondering about this too, if you can get them before entry I will (assuming they sell a tube too) but otherwise I'll just take a chance and try and get one at the end as I'll be wanting to get to the front on entry rather than taking time buying a poster.

OK thanks. Think I'll take a tube with me .... it can always go in the bin if I'm not allowed in with it or if I decide not to queue for merch :D

MEN doesn't have anywhere to sell merch before entry unfortunately.

They should let you in with a tube, but probably best that you have one lid off when you enter so you can show security it's empty. Would make getting frisked on the way in that little bit faster.

  • Merch stands at the MEN are definitely inside but 10c ticket holders get in 15 minutes early so that should mean all who bought on here should get a poster no trouble. As for getting one after, they will all sell out.
