What are the odds...
- My wife and I moved to Toronto late last year from Houston. Once we got settled in, we got the news that we were going to have a baby boy due Aug 27.
- My wife - who is the greatest wife ever - agrees to my name our son Lukin... Lukin Renner...
-Pearl Jam announces a show in TO Aug 21 - first time playing in my hometown since Houston waaaaaaaay back.

Now the date is getting closer - this kid is coming anyday now... so excited... its going to be a photo finish...

But what are the freaking odds that my first born, who I name Lukin, is coming within days of PJ playing where I live???? After all these years? unreal - makes me smile and will be a great story to share with my boy when he grows up.

Hopefully timing works out and I get to still go to the show, but if I don't it will be because I will be getting to spend time with my new son and his amazing mother - which will be one of the most memorable times of my life! I have already gotten the green light to make a quick trip to catch PJ later this tour if I miss this one. What a wife!

so once again - what are the odds? :)

    congratulations. Hope you like T.O.

So the real questions is....half way through the set your wife calls and says she is in labour......what do you do?

We were laughing last night as we actually had to start asking these types of questions... surely out of all the hours in the next 12 days, that I can keep my fingers crossed that the 5 hours around the show will be contraction free!

If it does happen then - well, there will always be another PJ concert (even if it is another 8 years...)...

TO has been great - especially now that summer has actually arrived.
