This is a beautiful thing. Every Third Man Records 7" released this year has had a regular black vinyl and a Three colored vinyl version. The latest is Jack White's first solo track released on vinyl- "Fly Farm Blues". The 45 is a single track, one sided record with a TMR logo etched into the b-side. And the icing...There are only 100 made. The problem...going backwards to get the first 2 Dead Weather releases...they are nowhere to be found. I am a vinyl fucking junkie. :DJack.jpg

There are now 150 tri colors for each TMR title. The 100 that are available in Nashville only, and 50 more sent out with random mail orders, like the signed SDE ten was. I paid $15 for the newest three pack of 7" pre order and received the fly farm blues tri color as one of my 3 records. Sweet!

hey ,you guys know how they pressed the "exact" amount of records for only the people that signed up for the platinum edition of the vault membership?.....have you heard any numbers? how many people joined, ie, how many of each special release will be pressed? curious.

I'm hopin it's waitin for me next Tuesday when I get back from Chitown. I was kinda let down that it's an album I already own, but I'd imagine there's gonna be a few significant changes, and there's a good chance it's gonna be the best sounding version of the album.

Curious as to what the mono mix is gonna do to the sound. Anybody got any thoughts?

I've been trying like man to get any of the colored vinyl releases and it's damn near impossible up here in Toronto. Still am yet to receive my Fly Farm Blues, so here's hoping.

I have no idea. But their twitter page has over 1,000 followers and I'd imagine the vast majority of them are vault members. Good question though. I'd love to know.

PS If anyone wants to read about my Dead Weather show experience and other mostly stupid things I write about, please check out: http://stopgaplegacy.blogspot.com/2009/ ... -haus.html

Comment if you can! Sorry for the shameless plug.

This is the email reply I received to this question last week. I asked if I could buy this, offered $100 or oral pleasures, or if I HAD TO, said I would drive to N-ville to get it-

"The track ‘Cut Like A Buffalo’ in 7” or 12” formats are not available for sale even within our Nashville store, but we do hope you get to come visit us one day!
    Thank you"

    Bummer
