Does anyone know what the camera policy is for this years tour? I know in the past PJ has allowed fans to bring camera's into venues as long as they were not camera's used for professional photography with big zoom lenses on them. Will that hold true again? I just don't want my camera confiscated.

  • I am wondering when they might change the policy, with new high end cameras that can take top quality video and pics but fit in your pocket. some of the youtube videos are decent, shaky, but the video and sound is getting better each time.

Personally I am happy with my 3.2 mp camera phone, I just want a few good "souvenir" shots to remember the night by.
  • After watching some of the Shepherd's Bush vids on youtube it seemed there were A LOT of people taking pics and video, so it looks like for this leg of the tour they are allowing cameras in. Not sure if they change their policy when they get to the states?

Thats what I was going to say- looks like they have been at the 3 shows so far, so I don't think you have anything to worry about. I am bringing mine to Chicago next weekend
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...

About half the people at SBE seemed too busy taking photos and filming to watch the gig :)
There was no problem with cameras at all... unless you happened to be unfortunate enough to be behind someone who kept putting one up in front of your face for the whole night!
we're all going to the same place...

No kidding...it's nice to watch some of the vids, but were they really getting the full experience sitting behind a camera the whole night? I think not. A couple shots and MAYBE a vid for me...that's all I need!

Why not just not take your camera, enjoy the show without worrying about snapping pics/taking vids, then search the web for videos and pics the next day? There will be tons of videos for each show all over YouTube I'm sure :)

I may snap a pic or two on my cell phone just to send to friends, but Ill let other fans worry about videos and other pics!
