ticket scam, heart break.

utterly miserable here.

Got two 10c standing tickets for london gig, will be 1st time to see PJ, bought a 3rd so that both, myself partner & daughter could all go , last second before they all sold out. Booked flights from north Scotland, & found cheap hotel. 3rd ticket was upper tier, didn't want to be seperated so bought another standing one online- we seriously need some Q time out together. The onlineticketshop £165.. Sold the upper tier one on ebay for £62.

Lifes been hard & cruel, Pearl Jam's been a rock of strength to me & my daughter through some harrowing traumatic stuff, each song means so much.recently I've been working 16 hr + days for weeks, exhausted just looking forward to us all getting a break together & blissing out seeing the lads live..

But it looks like Ive been a complete idiot, in my eagerness to get us all there & grab another standing ticket, the onlineticketshop is a scam who have ripped off loads of people. they don't reply to e-mails or phone messages. If the ticket doesn't arrive by Saturday I'll have to cancel one of our flights, My partner has offered to bail out as he knows how much it means to us girls. We haven't been able to pay the rent this month so no way can take any more risks on ticket touts etc. If only I'd not sold the upper tier, if only I'd researched these crooks before I'd bought ( who are still trading despite being under investigation ).

Its just left me feeling sick & miserable, the one thing we were looking forward to , event of the year- has been messed up.

I'll dare say I'll cheer up once we're on that plane, I feel like a fool and misery posting this here, but its been one knock too many & I just need to reach out...

These people really are crooks, I know in the past they say they have tickets and they dont. It happend to a friend at a festival last year.

Dont cancel your flights, I woudl still come. I was at Shepherds Bush Empire this week and a few poeple got tickets for that on the day.

If you paid by credit card or Paypal you are coverd and will get your money back. I hate touts it takes out the enjoyment of going ot gigs.

Dont give up .. claim a refund, come over still, you will have to buy antoher ticket but you should get your money back if it was a credit card or paypal!

certainly at least 2 of us will come down, its turning into quite an epic & fraught pilgrimage though, its a long way to travel though on the off chance of finding that 3rd ticket that we can afford .

I will go all out war on the scam-sters when we get back, this has really upset me & I hate that they'd do this to anyone else.
