Lottery questions we have never asked on the board

1. can you win worse seats than your seniority would get you in the lottery?

Meaning low ten club number usually gets you first 2 rows lets say in straight up seniority, but can the lottery actually get your tickets moved back to row 9 or 10? So in essence you are winning worse seats in the lottery than had you not won at all?

2. is there a number cutoff that the lottery starts at or is every ten club person in it for the drawing? Meaning does someone with a number like 2xxx not even qualify for the drawing? Or is it(the lottery ) oonly for a certain ticket range say 100xxx and higher?

really curious on these. for the record I think the lottery is great

to my limited knowledge, everyone is in the lottery, therefore, you can win worse seats than you should be "entitled" to with your number.

we have asked these questions on the board before.

i think the lottery is great too. really great. waiting in line for ten club tickets with the hope that you could be opening a really great surprise makes the whole PJ concert going experience that much better.

i could be wrong, but I remember something about real low numbered people not being in the drawing for rows 9-10. they do the lottery for 1-2, then seat people based on seniority, then lottery 9-10. i think.

I believe they have answered both of these questions before...I know I've seen the first answered, although I can't remember where. They said you won't get worse seats by winning the lottery than your seniority would otherwise give you.

as for question number 2, I'm pretty sure everyone is eligible for the 1-2 row lottery. That's the only fair way.

NOPE, I was fortunate enough to see them on my 39th B-Day in Philadelphia/NJ last year wasn't given the first 2.

Can't complain because I did end up with my normal seats 12 row center.

But I am wondering how this year's lottery compares to the last tour?

In DC I had horrible seats, off the floor 30 rows back and 10 up. But I believe that tour had every seat up for lottery.

    Anyone know?
