Need help installing FLAC frontend...

So i've just upgraded my PC, and i'm trying to install FLAC Frontend again, and i keep getting an error message.

It says:

"Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"

Any help?

Sometime certain Microsoft Libraries can become unregistered when installing and uninstalling a lot of software. One very common problem is the MSCOMCTL.OCX.

To correct the error, first search your drive for MSCOMCTL.OCX to see if you have it. If not you can download it from HERE

The file should be placed in your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory. Or, if you are C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 if you are using WinXP.

Once it is there click START--> RUN and type "REGSVR32 MSCOMCTL.OCX" (No quotes) in the box.

That should fix the problem.

I have had infinite problems with my usual flac stuff and vista, which I've never got to the bottom of (not super techie person!) . The only thing that has worked in the end has been 'flacdrop'! So that it what I have settled on just to have something I can rely on.

I think there was a little fiddling setting it up with it, but none of my usual other programs have ever worked. I'm on a toshiba laptop.

What can I say? it might help!
