    Got Some - Conan
    Speed of Sound - Demo version that was won from completing the Backspacer scavenger hunt
    The Fixer - On the homepage.

    got some - incredible
    the fixer - great live, great song all around
    speed of sound - up there with black
    unthought known - amazing amazing amazing
    supersonic - only 30 second clip but has alot of potential to be unbelievable
    the end - like it but not sure what the whole band version will bring

    backspacer will be one of the greats
    a wise man investigates what a fool passes by

    I'm guessing based on his/her past comments that this is their track ranking of best to worst. They said in another thread that Force of Nature was the highlight of this album. If this is the case and The Fixer is that low on the list...we are in for a major treat.

    Then again (a more likely case) I may have a completely different opinion. Not about the major treat part...but on the order of greatness.

    mach would you please share your thoughts song by song if you have truly heard it (by the way, you forgot to list speed of sound). in some threads you make it seem like you definitely have not heard all of backspacer. in other threads you make it seem like you really have heard all of backspacer. please just share your thoughts with us and clarify.

    as for me ...

    got some (conan and youtube vids from past few shows) - incredible

    the fixer (studio and live clips) - great fun song

    the end (live ed solo clips) - fucking beautiful

    speed of sound (demo and live ed solo) - again .. fucking beautiful

    amongst the waves (10 second clip) - seems like it has potential to be one of the most amazing songs to ever bless our ears!

    supersonic (30ish second clip) - has potential to be a great punky number and awesome live.

    just breathe (10 second clip, and briefly in promo video) - hard to tell.. real shitty quality clip. but sounds great in the promo video. also, early reviews seem to think its like the greatest thing.

    i think backspacer is going to be absolutely unbelievable .. it's really looking that way.

    No...different guy. He has been defiant when it comes to elaborating about the album. He has no problem throwing out comments here and there but never any full descriptions. When I was saying how that short clip of ATW sounded awesome he said "it was just the bridge so how can you tell?".

    What part from ATW are we hearing in the clip? It sounds like it could be an epic song from those 14 seconds.
