On the Fence

I am going to the both Seattle shows and Portland the same week the album comes out. I am on the fence about whether I want to listen to the album before I go to the shows or after. I have been to a couple of PJ shows where I have heard stuff before it was released and it seemed a lot be a lot better than after hearing it 100 times.
I was curious if anyone else is thinking of doing this or at least thought of it?

I never mentioned this being a problem. If anything it is the opposite of a problem. It is a choice. I could go either way on this. I am just curious what others were thinking of doing. I know that as soon as my album comes in the mail, I will have to listen to it and check out the artwork. I don't have that much self-control.
And for the record, you don't want my life, trust me.
I think that's a good question. I would have the same dilemma if I were going. But I know I woulnd have the discipline to not listen to the new album if I had it in my hands.
