from the daily show, has some good clips of Fox Op/Ed complaining about liberals protesting and even OReilly comparing them to Nazis saying that's exactly what Nazis did, "they disrupted rallies, came in to shout people down..." hahahaaaaaa

What is that internet law about referencing nazi's and Hitler?
  • Have you ever thought of maybe watching the Factor before listening to what J.Stewart says

i have watched him several times and even listened to his radio show

    from your link:

"While the other network news broadcasts downplay the dissent and promote the government takeover of the health care industry, FOX News highlights the intense debate. When we cover the town hall meetings, we don't describe the protesters as loons. We don't denigrate people who disagree with President Obama. That's the big difference between FOX News and all the others."

this is true for the health care debate but can they make this same claim when it comes to people protesting the war? they don't denigrate people who share their agenda/views, big deal! in fact that video shows OReilly comparing war protestors to Nazis which seems pretty denigrating, at least to me. i guess some people might like that?

"while much of the other TV news media is simply in the tank for the president."

i wouldn't know, i rarely watch tv, i'm sure it happens, though but i know Rachel Maddow has been critical of Obama. but again, this is another case of can you say that about when Bush was in office? if Fox was never a "tank for the president" with Bush this would mean something. it's eay to make this claim when you disagree with pretty much everything the president is saying and doing but can it be doubted they were the Bush administrations mouthpiece?

"FOX News is designed to be provocative, truthful and look out for the regular folks."

truthful? bwahahahaha sorry but they lie with ease.

off the top of my head i can give you 2!

before the '04 election, remember there was that stink about Kerry possibly saying he should be president because more foreign leaders like him? and then the actual audio of that comment came out and it turned out he didn't say that? a few shows on Fox pushed that all the way to election day. it was pretty much Fox & Friends mantra, Brian Kilmeade or Steve Ducey would routinely say something like "yeah, but more foreign leaders like him so he should be president!" and roll their eyes. I heard Hannity bring it up after the audio tape surfaced, too. at that point they knew he didn't say that but continued to push it.

the 2nd is during the primaries, i forget what it was but Hillary made some comment and Fox blew it out of proportion saying how horrible it was. Fox & Friends asked for viewers to call in and email them to let them know what we thought. I called and said the same; 'i think you're blowing it out of proportion' (and was told 'thanks' and hung up on) i even emailed them with 2 different email accounts pretty much saying the same thing, though i said why and how i took her comment. over an hour later the hosts of Fox & Friends announced they have received so many phone calls and emails and not a single person disagreed with them on this yet i know i did 3 times and i doubt i'm the only one but i obviously know for a fact i disagreed with them 3 times that day. if they had said 90 some % agreed i might believe that being who the core of their audience is but to say 100% agrees with them when i disagreed 3 times?

you might say 'but it was those individuals saying it, not Fox as a network!' that would be understandable except Fox & Friends pushed the 'more foreign leaders...' thing every day until the election so don't they have a responsibility to tell them they are mistaken day after day? if a network pushed a lie about McCain day after day for weeks what do ya think would happen?

oh, and let's not forget Fox's bad habit of whenever a republican gets into trouble they label him/her as a democrat. most recently when Gov Mark Sanford gave his speech apologizing for abandoning his state to go have an affair...Fox's graphic had him as a (D) when he is a republican! they've done that before, too.

but you should find it funny/ironic that i made coffee and the only coffee mug i could find was an OReilly Factor mug :D

Yes I was.... and it looks like scotty pointed a few things out to me and If it's true then that's not good, but to think that Fox news constantly makes things up or lies IMO is preposterous. If that were true then their rating's wouldn't be so high over all the other cable news networks.

Wait a minute so you value the truth through whether or not a cable news network like FNews has HIGH ratings or NOT?

People don't watch the fox network for news. My opinion is they watch it to try to validate and justify their willful ignorance and racist bigotry.

I'm also guessing they think liz trottas kinda hot, and fantasize about her having their babies.

No wonder hardly anybody comes here and post anymore. Its because of comments like this or as soon as someone has a different opinion than yours that happens to be conservative the personal attacks come.

Um, yeah. There are black racists as well as white and every other color of racists. Or did you think "racists" were just white?

here's a pic of Fox labeling Sanford (D) and also of them doing the same to Mark Foley when he resigned after being caught sending sexually explicit emails, text messages and im's to male teenage congressional pages
