SF OUTSIDE LANDS

Whose headed out to SF for that? I am flying out with my fiance Friday morning from NYC, staying @ the oceanview. Where can we meet up to get the pit line started? Im still shocked Tenacious D is closing that festival out...was thinking about taking the 3 hour ride to Fresno to see DMB instead...although T.D could be interesting...love when they cover the Who.Also, gonna hit the Giants/Rockies game..they are neck and neck for the wild card so a Sunday 1pm game is in the cards.

    ill be at Outside Lands as well. I dont have tickets yet, and I will most likely only go on the 28th to see Pearl Jam. it is not sold out, so I am hoping to get a ticket below face value at golden gate park the day of the show, or better yet, I hope they will allow 10c to sell tickets at a discount like they did for V fest in Calgary. if I can get tix for like 30 bucks or under for the 29th I will stick around to see DMB, but I dont think too many people will be clammering for those 90 dollar tickets to see Tenacious D on the 30th.

    I'll be there! We're coming in on the 25th staying somewhere in Union Sq. I'm also gonna hit up a Giants game but I think we're going wed night when they're playing the Diamondbacks. So stoked! see ya up front

    I'll be there. I don't have tickets yet either, but will strike the day of the show for a heavy discount. :D

    Singles can already be had for around $80.00 if you jump on some of the deals on craigslist.

    I'm thinking they can be had for even less day of the show.

    I actually saw three day passes for $165.00. (had to buy the pair for $330.00)

    Should be a blast...... although I have to work, so I don't know what time I'll get there. Hopefully by 6pm.

    We are flying down from Seattle on the 25th, leaving on the 29th and but staying in Portland for a night or two and driving up.
    I would love to stay for the whole weekend, but our daughter is watching our aging lab, and she has a wedding to go to on Sat in Portland.

    + my H can't stand DMB for some reason, I guess I should be glad he eventually warmed up to PJ, but it took till the Gorge to do it.
    ( But next year I am going to see DMB at the Gorge all Laborday weekend, any one want to go with? )

    I will also be there. I fly in on the 21 and leave the day after PJ plays. Giants and A's games for me. Anyone know good bars out there? I'm from CT and don't know too much about the bars down there. Also is there a pre-party for this show or what?

    I'll definitely be there, just moved back to the city, after being away for a couple of years.. I had to come back in time to see PJ!!

    There was talk of arranging a Thursday night party, or a meet up after the show at a nearby bar? Anything in the works with that??

    Anyways, I know the city pretty well, and I can be on the lookout for other bars...
    And if anyone has questions about where to stay... how to get around.. or needs to crash on an air mattress, lemme know! :D

    Going to the Friday show, can't wait. Anyone going to the show from the south bay and would want to carpool? My wife and I are coming up from San Jose, with a quick stop in Palo Alto before going up to the city so if you're interested in maybe car pooling let me know.

    It's the next show they play!

    Unless of course, there's a surprise visit on Thursday (which would be nice) ... assume the guys are taking some time in Chicago to relax.

    I'm hoping for a Vitology heavy show like last night in Chicago. It's the last night of the pre-Backspacer part of the tour ... weather is going to be nice in SF on Friday ...

    Lots of good acts on the main stage all day ... I just can't miss The Duke Spirit and the National on other stages. So, I'll be snaking my way up front as best I can after 6:00 or so.

    Yep, I'll be there... after the epic Toronto show last Friday, I can't wait for SF! Fly in Thursday, may go see Giants, but nothing set in stone yet.

    I can relay if you want, you just want the songs sent via text?

    If you can get into AT&T park, do it.

    It's supposed to be gorgeous this weekend (try for a day game, night games are downright cold) and the park is beautiful!
