First Listen Rituals

So my response to another post got me thinking. Anyone out there have a little ritual they go through on the first listen of a new Pearl Jam Album? Personally I like to sit on my bed, smoke a joint and then flip through the little book as each song goes by, I listen to the album all the whole way through once. Then I stop. No crazy 3 or 4 times through, just once.

same here, minus the joint and the beer. i read the lyrics, look at the book and spin the black circle.

No particular ritual. Just ram the cd into the car player and start to rock out (well that's what I did for the Avocado). Cant wait to get the first listen over and done with, cos once I start to learn the songs I love 'em more and more!
