I sat through back to back days of internet ticket sales by the Colorado Rockies for the World Series and was shut out -- much like the Rockies themselves! :P
Anyhow, the first day there was such high demand that the server crashed. Much like today's fiasco, people were up in arms. The Rockies' response? It was an denial of service attack, we'll try again tomorrow...on the internet.
Tomorrow came and the tickets were sold very very slowly. Some people got through and bought well above their limits, while others like myself were simply staring at a waiting browser with nothing to show for it.
The bottom line is that no amount of bitching or moaning is going to change anything. Apparently the 10c thought it was a good idea to sell all of these shows at the same time *knowing* that the tickets would be in high demand, but not really caring enough to do anything about it.
I was close today, but not close enough to grab the holy grail. Fortunately it only cost me an hour. Maybe Ticketbastard will be kinder!

Maybe they thought if they put them on sale at the same time people would have more chance getting tix to their local show rather than making it easier for people to get tix to multiple shows.
