Would anyone be willing to swap 10/28 or 10/30 for my 10/31

I have two tickets to the Sat. night show. My wife is disappointed that I chose to see Pearl Jam instead of taking my 1 yr. old out trick or treating. I've been thinking about it and I guess I feel pretty guilty about it too. It's probably a shot in the dark, but if anyone has 2 for Tue, Wed, or Fri, and would be willing to trade, I'd appreciate it. I wish I could cancel my order and just pick up 2 for Tuesday, but I guess it doesn't work that way. Thanks

Can you make it to the show after trick or treating? PJ probably isn't on until 8:45 at the earliest. That's a bummer. Good luck.

1 years old? Can you convince your wife that is too young to go trick or treating?

I live in Thorndale, which is about 1 hr from the arena. I would never be able to make it in time to enjoy myself. I'm pretty bummed too. I might just bite the bullet and forget about the show. My son will be 16 months during Halloween. I really should have thought more about it before I bought the tickets.

Thats a bummer dude. Your kid has to come first. I say buy those noise reduction headphone for your kid, dress em up in a costume, and bring em to the concert. Have em trick or treat in the arena.

It would be kind of hard to trade your tickets because you have to show up to get your tickets in the first place.

Wish you the best.
Too many shows to list:
From my first show in Hawaii when they opened for RHCP to upcoming 2016 MSG and Wrigley. Seen them in every continent except Africa and Antarctica.

well he could show up early pick up the tkts give them to the other person and go back home to trick or treat.

That's a tough situation, I would tell you "tell you wife your kid is only one" but as a wife and a mom I think I would feel the same way you both feel, I hope you can get tkts for one of the shows and sell your Halloween tkts.
best luck to you!

A 1 year old?!? That's ridiculous! S/he won't even remember it....but you'll remember that Pearl Jam concert for the rest of your life! If it was a 4 year old I could understand it a bit more. But a ONE year old?!?

Fuck some people are just ridiculous with that commercial shit!

What if you said to your wife that you'd spend three nights with your child after halloween, quality one on one time...would that be good enough? Probably not! Because it's "not on Halloween". :x

Sorry....no offence.......that just really annoyed me!

Dude....I'm going through the exact same thing you are....in re: my wife, son, and Halloween. He's close to your son's age...At this point, it's more for the "moms". He prob won't start enjoying he's four or five.

Still haven't bought a tickets for the Halloween show  but if they keep hanging around in the "Goods" section.....I know I'm gonna cave in...

Do one year old's even eat candy? What is the point of taking a one year old trick or treating? Most communities have activities during the day for kids. I know when I was younger, my parents would take me to various events where you get candy, bob for apples (not a one year old), costume contest, etc.
The point is there could be a compromise worked out here. I know if my wife made me miss a PJ show to go trick or treating, I would be pissed. As another poster mentioned, if your kid was a little older, then I would understand missing the show, but your kid is ONE!!!!
• I'm actually looking for the same thing. Found out today the wife has to work on Halloween. So after you all help the OP out, I wouldn't mind trading 2 for 10/31 for 2 of 10/30. Please PM me or email me at mhaynes316@optonline.net if anyone is interested. I know it is a long shot. Also, my ten club number is 332xxx

Wow, this is my second post about marriage in about an hour but I had to comment.

Nothing against wives and kids but this is EXACTLY my problem with them both. Your kid will be 1-and-a-half and doesn't give a shit because he has no idea what the fuck Halloween is. Don't allow your wife to break your balls and make you feel guilty about it. It is important to spend time with your kids but you can do that almost ANY other day you want.

You can spend your day with a mini piss and shit factory who won't remember a damn thing and won't ever care or you can go to a concert that he will love to hear about when he's older.

Go to the show.
