    Funny how short lived the last design was. Already the second design overhaul on the new board.

    I have been addicted to this board of late. Come home from work, jump on the board. Go out, come home, go on the board. Things are hotting up in this country PJ wise and I just cant get enough of the goss and general excitement about the band. And yes, I love the new look! ;)

    I agree. It looks great. But let me tell you, for people with a color vision deficiency the icons that mark the threads are a hell of a lot harder to distinguish now.

    I'm so disappointed! The black and white backgrounds seriously screw with my eyes. After the colours changed on Wednesday afternoon, I soon 'saw' swirling clearish wavy things on the screen. They are from my eyes trying to handle the contrasts, but not coping.

    Sigh... I've only recently become a participant here. This problem will considerably cut down my forum time. It does not happen on any other site. :cry:

    PLEASE OFFER US OPTIONS WITH THE BACKGROUNDS SO WE CAN CLICK ON THE ONE THAT WORKS THE BEST!

    Nah, I just run around singing PJ songs all day. My family will be glad when the tour is over! I may come back down to earth then....... :lol::lol::lol::lol: And I really am a Pearl Jam-aholic!! People just don't understand..... ;)

    Interesting. I'm color deficient and didn't notice a problem. I mean, I may have a slightly harder time distinguishing stickies from non-stickied unread... but can still tell the unread from the read pretty easily.

    I do have lots of problems telling un-red from red, though.

    i'm digging it too - makes the avatar's much more clear than before. Backspacer is going to have such cool artwork it seems.

    Agreed.

    My only gripe is you can't find out about the first post by hovering over the title which used to be so damn handy!

    I am a HUGE fan of the Backspacer themed pages - here and on the main page. I have an eye dystrophy that made reading/seeing the green background pages almost impossible. I'm really happy I can see the pages without struggling and/or getting a massive headache now. :D

    I couldn't agree more... I love the sleekness of the new look; however, I am now disappointed that when I hit submit, I saw someone elses post and am required to hit submit again. While not a style change, please fix this!

    There's a reason for that! I's supposed to show you what someone posted while you were typing. And in many cases having that information could come in handy before submitting. (And it has been in effect for quite a while.) So type faster! :D

    This is a vast improvement. I think I commented in a thread not too long ago about how the "grunge" look was brutal.

    Glad to know that 10c read what I said and did something about it. :)

    Seriously though, this looks sharp. Best look this site has had since the 06 Klausen art.

    This new look is really sharp!! ...but are anyone else's eyes hurting them after 20 minutes? I think I may actually have to log off because of the insane colors, or wear sunglasses inside. 8-)

    It's the bright white...with the colors around the edges it is blinding!!!! My monitor is now about as dim as I can get it, and it's much better.
