    Pearl Jam bootlegs:

  • I spoke with the owner of a local record shop today and we were discussing his Pearl Jam shelf. He mentioned the new album coming and then said "g-d...do you remember when they released all of those official bootlegs? I had to clear so many shelves just for those. I'm glad it's just one album this time."

Shame on him.. he has no appreciation for how fans love to listen to 25-40 or so versions of the same song for different lyrics, or different solos, or Ed telling stories, etc. I told him that I rarely listen to the studio albums anymore because I enjoy the uniqueness of the live versions. That being said, I'm very excited to hear the new album. Business has slowed for the local record shop... I don't think my comment about not listening to studio albums much made him very optimistic.

60x60x24x39 goes by pretty quick so long as you have a calculater, know how many seconds in a minute, minutes in an hour, hours in a day. 8-)

Please...after six hours of students yelling in my ears today, I'm a little burnt out. But thanks for the quick formula :D
