10C gets the best seats, so even the worst 10C seats wouldn't be THAT bad.

I'm not knocking them...Well I guess I was...I hope your right cause I've never been behind the stage so I dont know. Can you see the whole stage from behind the stage or is your view obstructed?

you can see the whole arena! its like a band's eye view. i cant speak for recently but ive never had an issue with obstruction. but their on stage rig (the wave backdrop) is a newer thing and i havent seen a show behind the stage since they got it.

and dont believe what people say the sound is fine from back there. they have speaker columns hanging from the rafters facing the back and it sounds just as good as anyother location.

I was behind the stage at MSG N 1 last year and is definitely was not the best experience. The sound was very muffled and hard to hear. Still glad to have been in the building, of course!

I sat behind the stage in Albany 03, non 10c tix, and the sound was horrible, but I still had a great time.

I'm just worried about the view. The sound in the Spectrum is usually great. Thats one of the reasons why so many bands like it there...I think

my "side stage" seats at MSG I last year, were technically behind mike's amps, but it was phenomenal - no complaints here.

We could see their backs if that helps. All but Matt turned around for 1 song (Last Kiss of all songs) but other than that, you get their backs turned to you.

For 10/30 we are slightly behind the stage, so I hope you're right about the sound at the Spectrum. Sec. 221 I think??? Will I be able to hear everything alright?

In Albany there wasn't much other than the stacks. No curtains or such.

Well they get the best seats, with the glaring exception of those floor seats that are more than 25 rows back. Not sure I know anyone who would rather have back half of the floor over ANY other place in the building (at least in an arena). Not me.

behind the stage might actually be descent. i wouldn't be pissed if they put me there. i've never had seats back there, but they are actually close to the band if you want to look at the bright side. i had seats side stage once on booms end, lower level near the back. the seats kicked ass. it's nice to see the show from a different perspective sometimes.
  • I'll be in section 221 behind the stage for 10/30 also. From what I have seen from videos of other shows, the view doesn't look too obstructed (other than looking at the band's backs for most of the show). I do think being close to the stage but behind it will be better than being at the back of the arena at the other end (my other option being late to grab these tickets). But some of the comments regarding sub-par sound at the rear of the stage are a little concerning.
  • Hell, I dont even know where I'll be...I'm just assuming that I would be behind stage... :?

If you've been in the fan club for fifteen years then you should know about something called seniority seating.

I was as well...n2 was light years better for me when I got back out in front. Behind the stage is OK at best...obstruction isn't the issue...its the sound.

I can't believe they charge people the same price if you were to sit front row or if you were to sit behind the stage in the 300-400's...that's not right!
