Hey guys, I am not here to start a negative ticket thread, I just want to hear about some of your 10C ticket experiences. I am going to both seattle shows with 10C seats and my # is 345,XXX. what should I expect? I'm sure many of you have had great and not-so-great seats, so whats the story? Can a member with a high # still have better seats than Ticket Bastard? Just wondering. Thanks, DJ. Also please dont post if your only intention is to bash the band or the club, or to vent about the pre sale. i just want to get a feel for the 10C ticket program as this is my first time. Cheers

Ticket Master has gotten me the following=

Sep 2/05 Van, Nose Bleeds
July 22/06 Gorge, GA
July 23/06 Gorge Row 22, Mike Side
angels dance on a pin head, just to make room for you and i....

  • My number is 116 and I was at both those Gorge shows. First show my seats were row 8, second show row 6 both dead center. Best seats I've had was 1st row in Portland, but I would imagine those were lottery seats. Haven't had worse than 8th row in years.

The answer to your question really depends upon what you consider to be "good seats". For most arena shows, 10C usually secures most, if not all of the floor seats, and often some of the wings near the sides of the stage.

Now here's the key: if you manage to find yourself in, lets say, the first 20 rows of the floor, you're in some of the best seats in the house, which goes without saying. Second to this in terms of seat quality are the wings, which 1) have you up close, and 2) allow you to actually see the stage.

Which brings me to the final point: if you end up on the floor any farther back than 20-25 rows, you will unarguably find yourself in some of the worst seats in the house. In these seats, unless you are well over 6 feet tall, you most likely aren't going to able to see a thing. And I know many people will say "its all about just being there, blah blah blah", but if you do end up in those seats you most certainly won't be saying this.

In this instance (and I've repeated this in many threads), I personally would take ANY other seat in the house over the rear half of the floor, and it boggles the mind why 10C actually tries to include these in their ticket allotments. They would no doubt be doing members a better service by securing lower bowl section seats, anything but rear floor. So given this, at least in arena situations, 10C are by no means always better than public sale tickets (though in amphitheaters, you can't go wrong with 10C).
