Philly 10c tix %

How many tickets do you think the 10c was able to get?

Seeing as how my buddy forgot to take his credit card to work, and couldn't order until 1:30ish and still got tickets, I am guessing they got a bunch.

My guess...around 50% of the capacity

What do you think?
6/14/08 - Bonnaroo
6/19/08 - Camden 1
6/24/08 - MSG 1
8/07/08 - Newark, EV Solo
6/11/09 - Upper Darby, EV Solo
10/28/09 - Spectrum 2
10/30/09 - Spectrum 3
10/31/09 - Spectrum 4

so you're both saying that 40 to 50% of the stadium will be in the ten club line for tickets? i don't want to call anyone names here, but you have both overshot by a lot

Usually they get 10%, I'm going to go with 25-30%

I know quite a few people with small children who are going to the other 3 shows and not Halloween so I think that is a contributing fact as to why tix are still available.

This brings up a good point, at what point will they open the line up on 10/31 if they do have 25% + of the tickets?

Could be a nightmare to get your tickets.

also I never got an email about these new shows - i got one for the 1st two. a friend of mine who doesn't check this board didn't know they were going on sale until i spoke with him last night.

i agree on the 25% - that would be around 2000 10C accounts (4000 tickets).

not sure but Spectrum in 2003 had line 4 or 5 lines very organized and quick to get tickets - i think it took like 5-10 minutes tops and i remember there being about 200 or so people in line when i got there.

10/27 is still available as well, so I'm not sure that the Halloween theory flies.

With 2 shows already sold, the general public demand for tickets isn't going to be all that high. So it is a win-win for Comcast and the 10C to increase the 10C ticket allocation. It wouldn't surprise me if it was as high as 40-50%.

I sure hope they don't do all of this by seniority. They need to put the people in the first wave of ticket orders (everyone who was trying since 12 and got through by about 1) ahead of the people who log on two hours later and grab some seats. I don't have seniority, and I really don't want to be stuck in the upper levels. I sure hope it's not 50% of the tickets, or I'm shit out of luck on my seat location.

It's the last show of the venue - and that's the only reason PJ is playing these shows.

My little sister who has never been to a rock concert before this year wants to go because of that and I gave her my ten club tix. The demand in Philly is really high for the last show at the venue.

Now Tuesday, the 10 club could easily have 50% of the building and no one would care, but not for Halloween.

That's a good point. I still think it is fairly high, likely in the 30% range.

what i believe is that there's 0000000 chance MSG would allocate 45% (it seats 20,000 at concerts) of their seats to the ten club. i love ed, but i don't necessarily believe all his drunk, on-stage ramblings- about a lot of what he says, actually. if you want to believe everything that comes out of his mouth- go for it- i will use common sense

in regards to worrying about missing part of the show because of the 10c line just get there really early and pick them up beforehand. How hard is that? I always wonder why there are issues with people getting there 10c on time. It's because they decide to arrive late. I always pick mine up when or around the time that the window opens and am in the building well before PJ starts. Everyone else should do the same and than there won't be any complaining on the day.

    interesting.
