I completely agree!!! I even got THROUGH to the tickets, and typed in my credit card info and everything!!!! And after I typed it in and pressed submit, it kept saying the server was overwhelmed, until finally it released my tickets and said, "YOU RIPPED OUR FACES OFF!!!!!" I was cursing SCREAMING at the computer!!
Its extremely frustrating. All the beautiful front end design is not really worth much of anything if the back end can't handle the bandwidth and traffic. Rather than working on a redesign and adding widgets and such the Ten Club really needs to spend some time doing their homework, and do proper testing. They know very well how much traffic is going to come to the site when they extend a tour esp. in a building like the Spectrum which is going to get torn down practically right after the show. Seems like a pretty easy fix would be to add a few additional server clouds to the mix on big days like this so that they don't end up with frustrated fans. I also think they should reconsider the length of time you need to be an active member, for this current pre-sale the requirement was to be an active member as of August 9th. Seems a bit ridiculous if you ask me. Obviously complaining won't get me or anyone anywhere, but for long time fans, its pretty disappointing to miss out due to technical error or to those who just joined the club a week ago. Its even worse when log on to Ebay in a day or so and see the jerks selling floor level seats at sky high prices because they have corrupt connections.
fortunately, i was just able to get tickets, but you couldnt' be more right about the back end not being able to handle the traffic. it is very frustrating.
