With your spare ticket?
I am taking my friend along to the Melbourne show, on me, it is his birthday present!
As for my spare Sydney ticket, if noone I know personally wants it I will advertise here!

    I've taken 3 different friends all to their 1st PJ show - on me. If they want to come along a second time (and they all do), they have to pay their own way!

    My mum said she'd go if they came to Australia, mind you she is close to 60 years old.

    my dad went to camden 1 2003 with me. he kept bringing me large beers all night--i didnt have to leave my seat once.

    i took my boyfriend to the cincy show a few years back -- he said he enjoyed it, but he hasn't offered to join me for another show since then. oh well.

    he did think ed was great -- that was the show where ed took a rolling stone magazine with his picture on the cover and pretended to wipe his bottom with it ;)

    I've taken 6 people to their first PJ shows.

    Of those 6, all have said it was amazing and one of the best if not the best show they've ever been to... even a couple who only know PJ from radio play.

    Of those 6, only 3, that I know of, have gone to a 2nd show. One of those 3 will be joining me for her 14th through 18th shows this year. :) That's why I married her. ;)

    My husband has come with me to every show over the years. They are our mini vacations.

    Its one of the reasons I love him so. He never says a word when I buy multiple shows and will find me tickets to shows I couldn't get 10c for. He understands how happy the concerts make me and what a part the music has played in my life.

    Last year our sons joined us we had the best time for those shows!

    I took a good friend of mine to the MSG2 08 show... he wanted to get the full Pearl Jam experience and do so with an insane fan such as myself... i sent him to the arena at 2pm to wait in line for a poster... LOL...i met him at the bar at 6pm... he had just got there with a wristband... i guess he really got the FULL PJ experience...(and i got my poster).

    last year myself and 3 friends saw our first show.

    taking one of the same friends to chicago.

    i'm working on getting my bro and dad to go to their first show. hopefully a west coast one :D

    I took one of my friends to Camden 2 '06 and another friend to DC '06. Took the same friend to DC last summer and hope to take the first friend to Philly 10/31. He's from Philly but not in the 10C, so it would be a cool treat for him to get to go to this show... not to mention for me as well! Here's to hoping I get tix.

    Aww.....that is so sweet that you'd take your mom!!! Hope she is able to go with you! :D All of my shows have been with family so far. My brother and I saw them and it was the first time for both of us. Also have taken my sister once and my daughter 3 times. This tour I hope to take my daughter again and also take my son to his first show.
    And then when I am 60 it would be great to have my kids take me!!!

    I have yet to take a newbie to a full fledged PJ show, only EV solo, hoping to with the 10/31 show. Myself and my hometown tour buddy actually had our first PJ experience together at the 96 Merriweather show. So he usually gets first dibs on my spare. But since he is not a die-hard like me I am offering my other tix to some friends that have yet to experience the joy that is a Pearl Jam concert.

    Mansfield 3 - My first show, my best friend bought the tix.
    Ashville - Brought two of the companies VP's to their first show.
    Hartford 06 - Flew back to CT to go with friends to their first show.
    Columbia - Bought my GF to her first

    i've never treated anyone to a pj show, my husband and i have shared a good # and i had asked my sister to join me for the 2006 italian tour, she turned me down so i went with some great pj friends. i more often than not share tix with friends, but yea....they can pay their own way. :D
