Using Safari for 10C ticket purchase -- certificate warning?

I've gotten this "Safari can't verify the identity of this website ..." pop-up warning before for other sites, and if it's a credit card related thing that can wait I usually just leave it til I can do it on a work pc. But tomorrow (Wednesday, August 12) I need to do this on my home mac. When I hit the disclosure triangle for the details, it says the certificate for the secure PJ site was issue in South Africa by a Thawte Consulting Ltd. Nice. Now I'm worrying about compromising my confidential info on top of thinking about scoring (or not) 10/31 tix.

Someone please say the message is safe to ignore. Thanks.

You know, that's a good question. I got this for my first time yesterday on Safari - has never happened to me before, but I realized I've never actually seen the VeriSign or any other seal of approval from a security company on the Goods section. I guess I pick my battles, and deem them trustworthy!

Thanks, I went for it anyway, and got tix on my mac (wireless connection!) even though I was also on a pc. If I start seeing any weird charges on my card/signs of identity theft, I'll deal with it when it happens.
