We've had two Ames posters so far, but no tour sub for collectors. Strange. Anyone know what's up?

My only guess is that the 10C poster pre-sale replaced the Ames sub this year.

Was wondering the same thing too! I was happy with my '08 sub. Why no '09 sub? :|

Ames subs are always the signed and numbered prints. My guees would be that they are waiting to offer the sub right before the US tour dates if they offer a sub at all. The poster market is way down for this tour.Have you seen what you can get for the Calgary print on ebay? Its about $5.00 more than what they paid for it. Im sure that the SBC print will not even go that high. That print is not so good.

I was ok with the Calgary print but it's like welcome to Calgary... park your horse over there and grab a steak, I wish they would have done something to do with the Olympic park like the band riding down the bobsled track or something  The 05 Goalie one was way better cant wait to see some Klausen.

In case people don't understand the Calgary print so much ... on the belt buckle of the rodeo cowboy, it states "Stampede"

    Stampede - The Calgary Stampede

The Calgary Stampede, which bills itself as The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, is a large festival, exhibition, and rodeo held in Calgary, Alberta for 10 days every summer from early to mid-July, attracting more than 1.2 million visitors. It is one of Canada's largest annual events, and the world's largest outdoor rodeo.

Uhhhhhh thanks for that .....I have lived here for a long time I guess my point was living here sometimes you just get sick of the "cowboy" stereo type and the last thing allot of us want hanging up in our house is something to remind us that once a year a bunch of tourists come to our city get drunk and play cowboy dress up for 10 days I personally am not a fan of the stampede and do not need do see some dude riding a horse to remind me of a PJ concert that's all and by the way I love that picture of the Stampeders!!!I have been a season ticket holder for a number of years and can't wait for grey cup this year

I assumed you knew what it meant, it was for others who may not.

That was my point. The poster market is down right now and Ames isn't as appealing to the masses as they used to be. They would probably have trouble moving subs at $60 a poster right now.

I have no idea, really. It was pure conjecture.

I think the Calgary poster is shit and, yes, the cowboy clique is getting old.

I liked the goaltender version. It was great. As a former Calgarian, I will state the Stampede is most definitely not the greatest show on earth. Most Calgarians either leave town for that week or wish they could.
