Seriously, is there something about this venue that PJ hates? I mean 2 shows in '95 and that's it. This is easily one of the top venues in the country. I know the Denver fans here are not the greatest, but that place would be filled for a week's worth of dates.

A lot of bands don't want to pay for the insurance to play there either. A few years ago someone fell off of one of the cat walks in the rocks and was killed at a Ben Harper show. After that the insurance premiums more then doubled.

not saying the insurance thing is false as I believe it I just find it really hard to believe it is a significant factor in the booking process. There are some significantly lesser known acts on the RR schedule this yr and Im sure the fee is the same for all.

With that being said I think it would be a superb venue for PJ and the weather is decent enough that I continue to hold out hope for the fall somewhere

Phish can draw a much bigger crowd than Pearl Jam and they just played 4 at Red Rocks
