Toronto to NY. But I took the long way.
Hiked up through the Arctic and past the north pole. Then back down through Russia, China and India (try the curry if you get the chance). Took a raft across the Indian Ocean to the Antarctica which was the hardest part of my trip, then up through South America and Mexico to the U.S. of A. All in all about 25,000 miles.
It was goddam tough and unnecessary. I'd recommend anyone planning on traveling from Toronto to NY to take a direct flight from Pearson International into one of the three airports serving NYC.
  • During the 2005 Canadian Tour, I travelled from Calgary to my hometown of St. John's, which is 6183 km (according to Google) [3 841 miles].
Makes much more sense to live in the Present Tense.

    Shows: 05/30/03, 09/02/05, 09/04/05, 09/05/05, 09/24/05, 09/25/05, 07/22/06, 04/02/08 (EV solo), 08/08/09, 08/23/09, 08/24/09, 09/25/09, 09/21/11, 09/23/11, /9/30/12, 12/02/13... many more to come!

I've travelled 1000+ km for 8 of my 14 shows (edit: oops, actually 10)...and will be adding another to that list next weekend. I've seen one show in my hometown...I think I'd be up there for an average-distance-travelled-per-show award.

My wife and I got married in October 2006. We then traveled to Australia to see Pearl Jam in Sydney and Brisbane in November on out honeymoon. Went to 11/07/2006, 11/08/2006 and 11/10/2006 shows. Two shows were fan club and the third we purchased there. I think it's like 9900 miles away.

Met some cool kids on a train on the way to one of the Sydney shows. They loved Wolfmother too I remember them saying. We saw some other Americans at Brisbane too
